On foot from the Ferry/TIC:

Follow the quay around to the south side.  Cut up through The Drang (cobbled path between "The Lobster Pot" and "Country Goodness", near the Band Stand).  At the top turn left into New Street.  Follow the road up past St Petroc's Hotel.  Cross over on the corner and follow School Hill up past the old school.  At the top cross over (there is a subway you can use).  Follow the main road along until you get to the school.  Grenville Road is on your right, after the school and opposite Tesco.  As you come into Grenville Road turn left into the cul de sac.  Damara House is at the end of the cul de sac on the right hand side.

By Road:

To Padstow: From the M5 south, turn onto the A30 just after Exeter.  There are several options from  the A30.  The most direct way is to come off at Bodmin (A389) and follow directions through Bodmin and Wadebridge to Padstow.  Just after  the village of  Whitecross  turn right through Little Petherick and St Issey (A389).  This section of road is narrow in places and is not recommended for wide vehicles.  To avoid this narrow road do not turn off after Whitecross and stay on  the A39 until Winnard’s Perch roundabout  then turn right towards Padstow.  Alternatively stay on the A30 until  the Indian Queens turning then follow the directions to Padstow (A39). You can also use the AA route planning service.

As you come into Padstow on the A389, take the first turning left (Grenville Road) which is about 10 yards past the 30 speed limit and "Welcome to Padstow" signs.  It is beside the primary school and opposite Tesco. Once in Grenville Road, turn immediately left again into the cul de sac.  The first house in Grenville Road that you see is No 3 (white house), No 1 - Damara House (brown house) is at the end of the cul de sac on the right hand side.   The car park is on the right beside the house.  There is one space per room.  If you are bringing 2 cars per room please park one behind the other. Please do not park in the turning circle.  The post code is PL28 8EX.

By Bus:

Padstow is served by the Western Greyhound buses 554, 555 and 556.  If you are on the 555 ask for the bus stop outside Tesco.  Immediately opposite Tesco is Padstow primary school and Grenville Road.  Follow the directions “by road” from the primary school.  The 554 and 556 will drop you at the Old Railway station.  You can either get the 555 to the top of the hill or follow the road up past the old school and pick up the directions as if walking up from town.  The nearest National Express bus stops are at Wadebridge or St Columb Major.  You can catch the 555 or 554  buses to Padstow from there.
