Walks

There are numerous walks around Padstow.  The two most popular are the South West Coast Path and The Saint's Way. We are in the South West Coast Path Guide. Saint's Way Guides are available from Cornwall County Council.

Facilities

We offer the following facilities to walkers:

• Maps and walking guides for guest's use while they are with us
• Microwave for guest's use
• There is a Tesco across the road from which you can purchase packed lunch and snacks
• Laundry can be washed and dried for you (see tariff for price)
• Advice on public transport
• We are unable to transfer luggage to your next destination but recommend Padstow Airport Services (01841 533042/07977 241876), Padstow Taxis (01841 532384) and Ocean Taxis (0798 000 1323) to transport luggage for us
• The rooms are well equipped to reduce the amount that you need to carry!
• Drying facilities for your clothes are available on request

Public Transport

If you are finding it difficult to get accommodation in the Porthcothan/Treyarnon area, you could consider staying in Padstow for 2 nights and catching the bus in between.  The 556 bus runs from Padstow to Newquay along the coast road stopping at Porthcothan, Constantine, Treyarnon etc.  You could catch the bus back to Padstow in the evening and then get it to drop you back in the morning.

Parking

We have a car park for residents to use for the duration of their stay.  We are unable to offer long stay car parking.  Cars can be left in the North Cornwall District Council Link Road car park which is a short distance away.  Car parking rates are available from Padstow Tourist Information Centre.
